Destruction of Satelite

Recently there was a destruction of a faulty satellite in orbit. Supposedly this satellite was falling from orbit and could have been potentially dangerous had it landed anywhere due to the fuel cell that was on board. The good news is that we were able to destroy this with a missile shot from a ship in Hawaii. What awesome technology we have to be able to do such a thing.
